About the Her Tech Circle Regional Scholarship Program
At Her Tech Circle, we believe that geographical location should never be a barrier to ambition. The digital economy is for everyone, and our mission is to ensure that immense talent from regional Australia is not only recognised but empowered to thrive.
The Australian tech industry faces a significant skills shortage, and we know that a powerful solution lies in unlocking the potential of underrepresented talent, particularly women in regional areas. Our new scholarship program is a direct and strategic response to this challenge.

 

What is the Her Tech Circle Regional Scholarship?
The program is a foundational step in building a more inclusive and diverse tech workforce. We will award eight annual scholarships, each valued at up to $4,000, to passionate regional women who are ready to take their tech careers to the next level.
This is more than just a scholarship; it's a bridge to opportunity. The funding is specifically designed to cover travel reimbursements, enabling recipients to attend Her Tech Circle events and access curated mentorship sessions.

 

What will the scholarship provide?

• Expanded Networks: The chance to attend a Her Tech Circle event and build the vital professional relationships that are proven to accelerate careers.

• Curated Mentorship: Invaluable one-on-one sessions with leaders in the Her Tech Circle network that we will set up for you.

• Professional Growth: The tools and support to pursue leadership opportunities and navigate the tech industry with confidence.

• Travel costs: We'll cover your travel costs to attend a Her Tech Circle event of up to $4,000

 

Who can apply?
The scholarship is open to passionate regional women (18+) who are either already in the tech industry or are curious about making a career change into tech, and are eager to expand their network and knowledge.
